Project Description
The project involved the provision of step free access / access for all at three stations to the east of Stratford. Lifts were retrofitted into an existing station at Maryland and new steel footbridges complete with lifts installed at Manor Park and Seven Kings Stations. Cass Hayward was a member of Hochitef UK’s (HUK) Multi-disciplinary design team comprising architects, designers for MEP and OLE, a steelwork fabricator, and HUK’s own site team. Design was undertaken within a BIM environment with all design parties required to produce 3d discipline models and drawings that were combined into a single federated model. Cass Hayward were responsible for civils design aspects, e.g. foundations, primary steelwork, and drainage.
