Bridges

Cass Hayward are specialists in the bridge engineering discipline focussing primarily on design. We have been rewarded with the experience of seeing over 300 bridges constructed to our designs of which 75% have been divided equally within three categories of static bridges carrying highway vehicles, railway trains and pedestrians/cyclists. The remainder are moveable bridges, industrial bridges and RoRo link spans. In all over 800 spans have been installed. We are enthusiastic about our capability in temporary works design which helps us to produce efficient and practical designs and this is enforced by our close involvement in research, standard designs and the development of Codes of Practice. We undertake our designs taking full advantage of modern digital applications.
